Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had a largely successful trip to Europe last week. The French press described her as seducing France and the German press described her as having a coquettish exchange with its leader.

She did make a couple of mistakes. One was by saying that Turkey and Greece had experienced civil wars when Turkey hadn't. Rice also said Iran has a totalitarian regime a term reserved for one that uses terror and violence to exist like Stalin did in Russia. Iran is actually considered to have an authoritarian government. (I hadn't known about Turkey or the distinction between totalitarianism and authoritarianism until the news story I read about Rice's trip.)

Weez wants her to be his Valentine, but won't believe her when she says yes because of how she misled us on WMD.
