Notes: "The Iraqi parliament is nothing but a rubber stamp for Saddam Hussein," said George W. Bush on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2002, according to a report by NewsMax.com. With Republicans in control of both houses of Congress, some think the United States Congress will be a rubber stamp for Bush. Our President does a lot of loud talking about what's wrong around him without ever turning the lens of scrutiny back on himself. Consequently, his assessments sometimes contain the unintended irony of the sort where the pot calls the kettle black. I'm simply having fun with that in this strip. 11.17.02
